Royal Philips Electronics is the market leader in medical diagnostic imaging and patient monitoring systems, energy efficient lighting solutions, as well as lifestyle solutions for personal wellbeing. As part of a cost reduction program to streamline the value chain, Datactics was requested to match and cleanse its ERP systems and implement a quality control application to filter poor product data prior to entering the master database.

Following on from the successful delivery of the Data Quality Firewall and File Validation tool, Terex contracted Datactics to help track the savings and expenditure obtained across its global supply chain. Now when new pricing strategies are agreed, users simply record the accurate part-plan data in a consistent format feeding it eCost system directly. With reliable and timely data entering eCost, its output of Business Intelligence reports is a trustworthy source for founding new business initiatives.
KPMG
KPMG provides audit, tax, and other advisory services worldwide. As part of its Global Advisory Services it offers Anti-Money Laundering systems and controls for clients, alongside conducting money laundering investigations and reviews. One of its clients required a powerful solution that would effectively analyze, re-engineer and match over 14 million records to reveal blacklisted countries, blocked persons and at risk transfers as well as highlight selected trigger terminology such as ‘diamonds’ and ‘guns’. Datactics ensured full compliance with revised regulations utilizing state of the art technology.
Bank of Ireland
Bank of Ireland (BOI) had customer data spread across isolated current, mortgage, credit card and personal loan account systems. The challenge was to create a manageable Single View of Customer (SVC) database to consolidate data within these disparate systems. Datactics SVC provided a comprehensive marketing database, to enable the bank to up-sell and cross-sell products more effectively.

John H. Lunn (Jewellers) Ltd is a family business with over 50 years experience selling fine diamonds, beautiful jewellery and luxury watches. They carry many of the world’s most famous brands, such as, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Chopard and Mikimoto. Datactics cleansed, matched and merged customer data to create more effective targeted marketing campaigns.
Increased Response
Increased Response is a database marketing consultancy that specializes in acquiring understanding from and adding value to customer data. They offer a complete range of data driven services from data cleansing, enhancement and analysis through to database design and management. Increased Response had a requirement to identify duplicates in data from a client, as part of an overall project. The client had 205 million consumer records supplied from five different sources. These files needed to be matched together to identify any overlap of records across the five files. This involved the manipulation of some very large datasets, some over 20Gb in size.

Established in 1982, Snow & Rock is the leading specialist winter sports and outdoor retailer in the UK. The business has grown rapidly and today boasts 20 lucrative high street stores and a thriving mail order service. With over 115k names and addresses to be mailed to, it is important that client contact details are valid without duplications and that only one catalog is distributed per household. As part of its professional services, Datactics cleansed, standardized, matched and enriched Snow and Rock’s B2C name and address database, minimizing direct marketing costs, cultivating professional customer communications and increasing sales.

NHS Supply Chain
NHS Supply Chain commissioned Datactics to deliver an innovative solution for effective product and catalog matching. The task, previously manually performed by a number of NHS Supply Chain Research Analysts, has now been automated with an 80% cost saving plus other benefits.
Utilities Asset Management
The utility company had hundreds of thousands of assets that needed to be managed. But without data quality management plans in place, the asset data had become both degraded and unusable. Master Reference Files needed to be created and enforced to keep track of assets and prevent fraudulent use of them.
Mixed Data Sets with Chinese
Datactics was chosen because of its unique ability to handle all variations of Chinese characters within the same data set, and its high level of reporting, tracking and reviewing changes made to the data. The solution has reduced the time taken in making data available from months to days.
